Polyurethane Kitchen with Sharknose Handles In Glenhaven

This modern custom kitchen we completed in Glenhaven in the Hills Shire shows how to execute a kitchen with a Scandinavian feel with crisp white polyurethane cabinetry and sleek sharknose handles. We continued this theme from the kitchen with all joinery we completed for our client which included a butlers pantry, laundry, vanity & tv cabinet.

The polyurethane doors are in Natural White Half by Dulux finished with sharknose handles. The timber feature to the island and to the rangehood shelf is Planked Urban in a chalk finish by Laminex.

It really is all about the subtle details with this kitchen with the hood box in a Calcutta profile by Polytec. The timber handles are by Kethy and the stone benchtop and splashback is Elba White in a honed finish by Talostone.

This custom built kitchen has been well thought out in term of storage and use with a generous sized butlers pantry with an additional sink. As the pantry is open planned and is visible from the kitchen, we have designed the pantry with doors as apposed to open storage to keep clutter to a minimum and allow this area to be as tidy as the main kitchen.

In the laundry we have created both a functional as well as beautiful space with ample bench space and storage, both two necessities we focus on when creating laundry spaces for our clients. The clients choice of splashback and floor tiling compliment the area beautifully.

For the bathroom vanity we continued with timber and white tones. The doors are Planked Urban in a chalk finish by Laminex. To tie the vanity to the shaving cabinet we used the same timber finish to create balance to the design. Paired with the clients choice in tiling, gives this bathroom a modern, yet calming feel with simplistic styling with further pops of white help to create the relaxed vibe of this bathroom.

For the TV cabinet we designed this to be floating with ample hidden storage. The use of mesh in the centre cabinets doors which house the technology, to allow airflow to the devices as well as increases the reception with the use of remotes. It also keeps these hidden from view to keep the area clutter free. To tie it with the flow of the home a single shelf in Planked Urban brings in the Scandinavian feel that has been achieved throughout the home.
