Polyurethane Sharknose Kitchen in Bundanoon

Located in beautiful Bundanoon in the southern highlands is this architecturally stunning home that we have had the pleasure of creating joinery for. The modern industrial designed kitchen oozes sophistication. The heart of this home is undoubtedly the polyurethane sharknose kitchen, which embodies subtle elegance.

As you step into this kitchen, you’re greeted by a monochrome palette that captivates the eye. The space features a rugged concrete Caesarstone benchtop with 40mm thickness and stylish waterfall ends, setting a tone of understated luxury. Every element in this kitchen has been chosen with an eye for balance and beauty, from the Calcutta panelling on the island to the sleek, long feature shelf and the striking white hood box.

This kitchen is all about the subtle details. The Calcutta panelling to the island, the long feature shelf. The white hood box. One of the standout features of this kitchen is its sharknose handles, which enhance the smooth, handleless design, preserving the kitchen’s sleek lines and modern vibe. The choice of black and ultra-white thermolaminate doors by polytec adds a dramatic contrast that is both bold and inviting. This balance of tones has been beautifully executed. Whilst simple in palette, the effect is eye catching and it commands your attention.

Making the most of the breath-taking scenery, this light filled kitchen with stunning high raked ceilings adds to the luxury of the space. The timber flooring provides a warm & natural feel to the polyurethane kitchen and the customers styling of brown leather chairs and black drop pendants completes the look.

The butlers pantry has been designed with functionality as well as beauty.  It is well equipped and features a second oven, dishwasher, sink, fridge & wine rack, enabling the main kitchen to be utilised for entertaining while completing preparation in the pantry.

The same tones were kept throughout the home with the laundry completed in Ultra White thermolaminate and a Tasmanian oak in woodmatt finish shelf to bring a natural element to the laundry. Functionality has been well thought out incorporating a mudroom into the design with a bench seat, space for storage and a hanging space. Light beams into the space and with views like this, laundry would certainly not be a chore.

The study area in black thermolaminate creates a functional and sleek space for work and study. The home also features a kitchenette to a bedroom which has been designed to incorporate a microwave, fridge, sink area and storage. Making this the perfect bar/morning coffee station.

This Bundanoon home, with its stunning polyurethane sharknose kitchen and thoughtful details, stands as a beacon of design and functionality—truly a modern beauty seamlessly integrated into its picturesque rural setting.
